Drowning Massacure Rocks -2008

Last summer our dive team was called to assist Power County Search and Rescue and Power County Marine Patrol with a drowning. The water was cold, deep, fast and merky. We searched for 2 days and was unsuccessful. However Power County continued to run the river for several days after and eventually they were able to located the victims body.

This is the section of river where the victim entered the water.

This are the many volunteers from all the agencies from the surrounding area, doing the morning briefing.

Bingham County Divers- Bill and Radar

These particular individuals are from Park City, Utah. They brought there large boat and their sonar. We used the sonar to try and scan the bottom of the river to see if we could see anything out of the ordinary.

Jeep Recovery - June 2008 Cnt'd

I located some more pictures from the jeep recovery we had a last summer...

The Divers - John and Jim- would take chains and rope hand over hand until they reached the jeep.. then they would pull with the wrecker, that is until it got hung up on a tree stump. They ended up calling road and bridge to bring their big equipment to get it out!
